Instructions

Combine gin, lemon, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until very well-chilled, then strain into a rocks glass with ice (preferably crushed ice). Float the blackberry liqueur on top. Garnish with a blackberry.

Notes

I used a local blackberry liqueur from my neighborhood in Philadelphia.
