Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled glass over fresh ice.Notes
To make this so-called “syrup”, I kinda wing it. I throw about 1 cup of unsweetened pineapple juice into a super hot sauce pan with about half a sliced jalapeño. You want to stir to get a little bit of pineapple juice on the sides of the pan. This juice gets a bit burnt which gives it that char flavour.Reference
