Instructions

Stir over ice, double strain over the biggest rock of clear ice you can find, express orange peel and garnish.

Notes

This recipe comes from Death and Co. and is a modern classic in its own right. For the homemade clear ice, directional freezing in a cooler is used, then carved with a serrated knife. The ice is squared off by running the edges over a baking tray, which melts them perfectly flat.
