Notes

I wanted to get this recipe out of the way before Winter was over as I’d say this is a pretty good winter/autumn drink. I tried this with bourbon my first time, but since the drink is already rather sweet, I figured something more dry would work better. And it did! The marriage of the maple syrup (not make simple syrup, just straight up maple syrup) with the rye and the apple cider creates a flavor profile that I would liken to an Graham cracker, and I thought it was really cool. And the scent of the cinnamon every time you take a sip only adds to it.
